Traditional/Conventional Septic Systems

A Traditional/Conventional Septic System consists of a septic tank and a trench or bed subsurface wastewater infiltration system, known as a drain-field. A Traditional/Conventional Septic System is typically installed at a single-family home or small business.

The first step in designing or selecting an on-site system for your new home or business is to have a Soil Profile Description Test (SPDT) performed on your property. The soil test identifies the characteristics of the soil on your property. Based on the results of the soil test, the size of your property, and the number of bedrooms in your home, an on-site sewage treatment system(s) is designed. This is required in the State of Oklahoma and the test must be done by a DEQ Certified Soil Profiler. Firestorm can help make this process easy for you by scheduling this SPDT scheduled for you.
